KABA-GA's SEMI-ANNUAL

VOLUNTEER EVENT

DATE: Sat., JULY 18
TIME: 11:30 am - 2 pm
LOCATION: Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Activities Center, 85 Mt. Vernon Hwy NW, Atlanta, GA 30328
QUESTIONS: Contact Brittanie Browning, brittanie.d.browning@gmail.com

Despite the model minority myth, the number of Asian Americans in poverty in the Atlanta metro area grew 168% from 2007 to 2012.

For KABA-GA's semi-annual volunteer event, the programming committee has selected Lift Up Atlanta, a non profit focused on relieving homelessness and poverty.

At this event, we will help put together backpacks and school supplies.

Join us on July 18, 2015 at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Activities Center. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating school supplies by bringing them to the July 16 Gwinnett Happy Hour at Bahama Breeze and giving them to Brittanie Browning:
